Q. Hello, My gynecologist called me today and informed me that my pap-smear was abnormal. They said i was tested possitive with HPV. I have only had sex with one partner, and it has been protected everytime. He also was recently tested and came up clean. I am eighteen years old and terrified to tell my mom that i have an STD! My doctor wants to preform a colposcopy. Will this cost me alot of money if i want to handle it without informing my mom, i am just to humiliated. Does insurance cover it and how confidential can it be? I have so many questions i just need help!!! ,
