It has been very painful for me to have intercourse.
Q. For about 3/4 of a year, it has been very painful for me to have intercourse. It stings and is painful at the opening of the vagina, and stings inside. I cannot have full penetration as the pain is too much. After this the whole area feels irritated, and I feel as though I really need to urinate but can’t. It is also still very tender and soar, is there some treatment for these symptoms? I have been to the doctors before, and they tested me for stds etc. which were all clear, but it never got taken an further, and my problem has still not been solved.,
A. Please do see your gynaecologist again, to see if you may have vulvo-vestibulitis. You seem to have one of the Vulvodynia syndromes. Do look this up and see if the symptoms fit, then see your GP or Gynaecologist
