is a fentons procedure the same as a perineoplasty

Q. is a fentons procedure the same as a perineoplasty? As i don’t think my gynaecologist understood what i reallly want from surgery, i am now quite worried i wont get what i am hoping for.,

 

A. Fentons procedure is to widen the vaginal introitus because of painful sex. it is an operation on the perineum, but techincally not what we call a perineoplasty.
