I am 19 years old, I have problems with my period
Q. I am 19 years old, I have problems with my period. I get it every month for about 5 days (at least). But I am always in a lot of pain. None of my friends feel the pain I feel. I always feel nausea and sensitivity to sound. For the past 2 years I’ve been getting pains in my knees. I am afraid this will interfere with my exams. When I was younger it would hurt for days and I would vomit and then fall asleep, when I used to wake up I was fine. Now I just get nauseas, no vomit but the pain is worse and lasts a lot longer. What do I do?,
A. Thanks. Do speak to your Mum / Guardian, and consider going to the GP, unless you are happy hust taking a strong pain-killer during the periods only, you may need to go on the pill.
