I have been having extremely prolonged and heavy periods for about three years now I have asked my gp to refer to a gynaecologist which fell on deaf ears instead she has doubled my contraceptive pill cerazette to two tablets per day and given me blood stemming tablets what could be the cause of my problems and what should be the next step I should take. im 23 and have pcos, i have viginal bleeding that can last longer than 3 months sometimes up to 4 months, this will stop for around 3 weeks and start again, its heavy bleeding and have large blood clots, i either have a dull ache in my lower right side or this can be a gripping pain, im am overweight because of the pcos im 5’5 and 13 stone, im worried this will be cervial cancer? i sometimes have day were i feel really dizzy and sick and sometimes very rarely have discharge of a very pale green colour. i dont suffer with pain however during or after sex. should i see a gynaecologist? thank you ,
